Discord Relay 2.0 Major Overhaul
The Discord Relay extension has been completely revamped to version 2.0, bringing new features, removing deprecated ones, and improving overall stability.
How to Update
If you’re using a version earlier than 2.0, please uninstall the existing extension by navigating to SAMMI > Bridge > Uninstall Extension. After that, download the updated .sef file to install the new version.
Warning: Some features have been deprecated and are no longer available in version 2.0. You can continue using the old version, but please note that it is no longer maintained.
Key Changes
- New Feature: Added the ability to relay chat messages between Discord and YouTube.
- Removed: Discord message and DM triggers. These were removed due to bugs and because they didn’t align with the extension’s primary purpose of clearly relaying messages.
- New Extension: A new standalone extension, Discord Triggers, has been released to handle triggers more effectively and includes additional features.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed: An issue where Twitch profile images were not displaying for relayed messages on Discord.
- Improved: Overall stability of the Discord Relay connection, as the code has been completely reworked.
